How Do I Get to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex?
- From Orlando on State Road 528
- From Miami on Interstate 95
Travel east on SR 528 for approximately 50 miles.
Take the SR 407 exit on the left toward Kennedy Space Center and Titusville.
Continue on SR 407 to the end at SR 405.
Turn right (east) onto SR 405 and follow signs for Kennedy Space Center for approximately 7.5 miles.
Turn right onto Space Commerce Way and proceed approximately 1.2 miles; the Visitor Complex is on the left.
Travel north on I-95 to Exit 212 (SR 407).
Turn right onto SR 407.
Continue on SR 407 to the end at SR 405.
Turn right (east) onto SR 405 and follow signs for Kennedy Space Center for approximately 7.5 miles.
Turn right onto Space Commerce Way and proceed approximately 1.2 miles; the Visitor Complex is on the left.
For GPS navigation, use “Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex” to ensure accurate directions. Do not use “Kennedy Space Center,” as it may lead to incorrect locations.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex – Accessibility
Elevators and Ramps
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is fully accessible, featuring elevators and ramps throughout the venue to accommodate visitors with mobility needs. This design ensures that all guests can easily navigate exhibits, theaters, and attractions.
Wheelchair and Scooter Accessibility
All tour buses are equipped with wheelchair and scooter-accessible lifts. Visitors can request this service when purchasing tickets or at the tour bus boarding location. Additionally, wheelchairs and electric scooters are available for rent at the Information Center near the main entrance.
Accessible Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are strategically located throughout the complex to ensure convenience for all visitors.
Theater Access
The IMAX® Theater and Universe Theater offer ground-level entrances and wheelchair-accessible seating, including companion seating. Wheelchair-accessible lifts provide access to upper seating areas as needed.
Shuttle Launch Experience
Visitors using standard or motorized wheelchairs can access the Shuttle Launch Experience® through the gantry entrance with their party. Each crew cabin includes an accessible seat with a pivoting grab bar, allowing direct transfer from a wheelchair.
Additional Information
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is a Certified Autism Center™, with staff trained to assist guests with sensory sensitivities. Designated quiet areas and sensory guides are available to enhance the visitor experience.
